Good job

At first i was thinkng to myself, heres just another poorly animated flash. But the music kept me going, and oddly enough the animation seemed very appropriate, and by the end i didnt care about the graphics. While the quality was top notch there are a few things to look into. for exmaple smothing out some of your motions that you do use, like the elevator. spending a few more minutes drawning a few lines would have made the scene complete, instead of random broken spots. I personally liked the workers expressions, very amusing

Ludamage responds:

You really like the workers? You should to know - i forget to draw them compleatly ^_^. Thanks for review. Thanks god - it's not worst and useless work...

yup its a test

Well for stick figures, ya you could work on them a bit, but i really dont care about the stick figure content, since it was a vcam test.

vcam is a very useful tool if you take a few more mins to look into it. Also depending how good you are with ActionScript you can make it work wonders. My favorite trick is to make the main guy a movie clip, and have an enterFramer listener update the vcam position to the main guy. This will always center your hero.

really now?

ok start

Every flash tutorial known to man, starts with a bouncing ball. The second part of that tutorial is how to make the bouncing ball look more real. A small flattening motion is the key objective you need to implement on the ping pong ball. Secondly when your guy turns around dont use a motion tween especially when using stick fighters. If you don't be lazy and actually do some frame by frame animating your movies will look much better. I did like how the movie circumvented back to the original scene as if to possibly imply that the protagonist has done that multiple times.

another stick animation

disrgarding the fact that that its a stick fight, i give you two pieces of advice to look into for future submisions. 1) if you insist on stick fights, thing how you can make something different/special so it stands out against others. 2) when you characters are in combat, their entire body should move, not just stand still and move their arms. It takes more effort, but thats what you need to get better. GL!

well with pivot its kinda hard not to use sticks and i havn't pivot'd in a while so it was a bit dodgy.

Stunning

I am sure your pushing Flash to its limits. Your animation was flawless, you wouldn't be able to even tell that it was done on flash, unless you knew what to look for. It down right looked cool, bout all you can say bout it. I would love to see the entire movie. Sadly assuming the size of you file(s), your not going to find a free host w/ quality or capacity that you are looking for.

Its good...

it flows well and the music was nice. To help keep the mellow/sad theme that music presents, look into fading in and out words, it might make your final production nicer. While I did enjoy it, I feel that you got lazy towards the end with just having text, I can see why you may have chose that, but there could have been a complimentary picture or something in the corner. Good Work

Kirlim responds:

I didn't get lazy , I realy used this way to bring the final messages to focus more on the words and the story they tell, instead of drawings. B
ecous this scene explains woth happens after Mark fly's down, he leaves heaven and gets reborn.
It realy doesn't fit the picture to have a woman legs spread on a table pressing out a baby's head...

It didn't sparkle

Two things you need to work on: Plot/Story Devolopment, and sound ( clear voices & and consistancy in background music). Some of the voices where kinda muffled and bg music changed part way threw a scene.

Some things you did well. Drawing and visual queues. While they aren't the best drawings, you were able to animate them well, which can make a scribble look amazing. Secondly everything was clear visually, and the speech bar helped.

Tip: If you have alot of the same mc (i.e. the hair guys face), it goes a long way to making it look more random/natural if you make 3-4 different ones, even if its small variation and scatter them. Also, if you want a 6min cartoon break it up into two movies next time, many people don't want to sit around for a long time for a flash animation especially if the plot isn't developing fast enough
.
Best of luck with future episodes.

Thanks for the tips!

ooo violence

looks like its gunna be good, i dunno if it was just me or your not finished, but the sounds seemed to be off just a little on a bunch of the hits. Something to take a look at

you sir

... win one free internet. You look at all the common things people complain about, sound quality, syncing (sp?), length, animation quality and detail, and the you can't pinpoint anything bad about it. Aside from it being a solid animation, it was funny. Well done

animations are decent but...

Take more care with your sound effects. Some end harshly or abruptly and that isn't pleasing to the ear. Also another thing that might help is a little "white noise" or quite background noises to bring your animation.

Also, props to ya on that kick ass tractor! +1 star
